The EEC-22+'s wide frequency range of 64 Hz ~4MHz allows for a wide range of applications. The EEC-22+'s CRT display presents the phase and amplitude vector of the eddy current signal as a combined, two-dimensional pattern (impedance). The design incorporates wide gain (90db) range a flexible alarm circuitry. Any degree of signal analysis is possible from a simple go or no-go comparison between test parts and reference sample signals, to in-depth investigation of small variations in metallurgy. The x component (horizontal component displays of eddy current signal) and y component (vertical component displays of eddy current signal) outputs permit you to record analog test data.

The EEC-22+ has phase/amplitude alarm, square alarm, ellipsis alarm, alarm areas up to 8.Regarding phase/amplitude alarm, the amplitude of alarm area is a function versus its phase, so it can indicate the same defect level of inner or outer surface of tube even if their eddy signals are much different due to the skin-effect.

The EEC-22+ utilizes adjustable gain from 0 to 90 dB in 0.5dB steps to fit for the testing requsetion.The EEC-22+ is a multi-purpose instrument; it uses absolute, differential, comparison or reflection coils. Other features include selectable continuous electronic nulling and high/low pass filtering for high speed automated testing.
